Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Java Software engineer to work in the Linthicum, MD area for up to 50% remote!

Position Overview:

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. They will work individually or as part of a team, review and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results, resolve software problem reports, utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment, & provide specific input to the software components of system design to include: hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components

Minimum Requirements:

• Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Java (8 and above), REST, Docker
• Developing, deploying applications, troubleshooting in Linux environments
• Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
• Experience with Atlassian tools
• Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
