Test Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Works as part of a fast-paced, mission requirement driven, ten-person agile development and test team which develops and fields to operations key tools that significantly contribute to the client mission.Will use the BDD scripting environment to develop Python/PyTest based tests and execute them. Will be expected to transition away from BDD to pure Python test development to write new tests or extend existing tests over the coming year. Will be a member of the system test team that performs tool verification as the final step of tool release.Will also perform requirements analysis during tool development. Works with developers to understand the tools, develops test plans and procedures, develops python tests and some manual tests, executes tests, analyzes results and creates a test report.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a test engineer developing and executing test scripts and analyzing results while performing system testing of complex systems

  • Experience with test plan and procedure development

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience with Windows and Linux

  • Experience with RTVM Devlopment

  • Experience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and procedures

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of BDD

  • Knowledge of PyTest

  • Knowledge of Solaris

  • Knowledge of HSDF and HSDF metrics and accounting systems

  • Knowledge of STG and RSS environments

  • Foundation Level Test Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
