A week in the life of aSenior Windows Administrator:

  • Manage and administer support for Windows 2012/2016 & hybrid Azure cloud environment across site-to-site VPN networks.
  • Perform remote and hands-on technical system maintenance and software installations in Windows 2012/2016, Linuxand VMware environment of devices servicing users.
  • Support DNS sites (MX records, round robin and zone transfer).
  • Implement automate patching for Test, Dev, and Prod environment via GPOs, IBM Big Fix v10,AutomoxandNinitePro.
  • Perform object-oriented monitoring of network devices and application performance via SolarWinds andPrtg.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Exchange 365.
  • Writescripts for specific customer requirements using Win Power-Shell with various fixes to resolve viruses across multiple domains.
  • Implement remote access solution through deployment of Remote Desktop Server and Gateway Server (for encrypted sessions) and two-factor authentication with Duo Security
  • Consolidate server hardware through deployment of Storage Area Network (EqualLogic SAN) and virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V) Mitigate security vulnerabilities reported through Nexus scans in compliance of NIST 800-53 and FIPS alleviating Category 1-.3

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Requirements
  • Required: a minimum of 10 years of recent and relevant experience.
  • Required certification: MCSE
  • Preferred education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology management or a related field.
  • Domain expertise: Operating Systems, Security, Networking, System Tools, DevSecOps.
  • Technical skills:Windows 2008/2012R2/2016R2 Red Hat Linux, Off. 2010/ O365, Wind. 10, VMware 6.5/6.7,Dell PowerEdge, Dell Latitudes,IBM, Dell EqualLogic,Symantec Endpoint protection 14.3, Nexus , IBM Big Fix ( HCL),Cisco Catalyst 2900 's Cisco ASA 5510, 5512, 5505, WatchGuard 510,Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, VoIP UC, MS Exchange 13/16,VeritasBackup,Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Otherpreferred certifications:MCSE,ITIL V4,CCNA,CompTIA Security+
  • Previous Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel clearance preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience with and knowledge of TSA's mission priorities, systems, and applications preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to coordinate across large groups of people at multiple levels
