The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurological Surgery, and WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute are recruiting a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join a comprehensive neurological based practice at Berkeley Medical Center in the eastern panhandle of WV. You will be joining a dedicated and collegial group of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who have expertise in interventional pain management, neurosurgery and physiatry. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of physical medicine and rehabilitation. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.Successful candidate must have completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program and be board eligible/certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Medicine. All qualifications must be med by the time of appointment.

The position will be primarily outpatient with an inpatient consultative service seeing various neurologic and orthopedic disorders. Opportunities for electrodiagnostic evaluations and ultrasound-guided procedures exist. Expanding outpatient opportunities include spasticity management, prosthetics and TBI, along with a comprehensive neuroscience center to manage various neuromuscular and neurologic disorders.
