Job Details


The Associate Events Manager will assist the Event & Retail Manager to cost effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness primarily through the management of our events and home shows as well as the marketing representatives within that program. They will also assist as needed in managing retail partnerships, showrooms, corporate partnerships, relationships with community groups, HOA's, company-created events and more.
RESPONSIBILITES:

Oversees participation in events, home shows, sponsorships, and creation of lead-gen opportunities based on established objectives, including on-site administration, resource supervision, and other implementation details
Negotiates with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space and to obtain the best value for our investment
Manages the department calendar
In field coaching, training and in booth work
Recruiting and interviewing
Classroom training. Teaching staff methodology, rebuttals, process, and procedures.
Collaborate and communicate with partners within Renewal to drive results
Provides guidance, training, and work direction to Retail Marketing Representatives

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
Some experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
