This will be determined early on with a meeting between the student and Dr. Brockman.

This position has the goal of augmenting the CV of students pursuing a sociology major that are interested in attending graduate school with a second-authored publication either listed as in progress, submitted, or published. There is no guarantee that the paper will be accepted for publication.

Students will be provided with a $200 small research grant with the expectation that they will devote time working towards getting a paper led by Amanda Brockman published. Students will be listed as an author indefinitely on this paper if work is provided.

If multiple students work on the same paper, students will be listed in alphabetical order by last name following Brockman with an asterisk indicating equal authorships of all students involved.

1) Must be an NKU student that has previously taken a class with Dr. Amanda Brockman.
2) Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a major in sociology.
3) Must be interested in potentially attending graduate school.
