Job Description
We are seeking a Consultant to lead a workforce analytics project for a client in the US Intelligence Community. On this multi-year project, the Consultant will have the opportunity to demonstrate intellectual agility by leading research and survey design, data collection, and data analysis activities to produce and implement recommendations that will support the client in optimizing work force efficiencies, Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity and Accessibility policies, and recruiting practices. This project features the opportunity to interact with a wide range of key stakeholders, including those at senior levels within our client organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an intellectually curious, energetic management consultant well versed in survey design and implementation to work on a project with real impact helping our client develop ways of better meet their resource and mission needs.

Key Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research designs with practical strategies for conducting evaluations of policies, processes, programs, and training; research designs may include but are not limited to the use of structured interviews, surveys, and/or focus groups
  • Perform a variety of research activities to include document reviews, structured interviews, and focus group facilitation; involves stakeholder identification and design of interview guides and focus group questions as well as logistical coordination for data collection activities and documentation of discussions
  • Design and conduct survey research; includes sample identification, instrument development, survey distribution and response analysis
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership based on research plans, activities, findings and recommendations
  • Brief Senior-level customers on research plans, status of activities, findings and recommendations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Skills/Abilities
  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a consulting role
  • Bachelor's degree
Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree is required for this position
  • Master's degree in business, social science, or behavioral science preferred but not required for this position
Desired Skills/Abilities
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis and advanced statistical concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with workforce analytics
  • Demonstrated experience leading survey activities (e.g., writing, administering, analyzing)
  • Demonstrated experience leading structured interviews and focus groups
  • Demonstrated experience with survey design
  • Demonstrated experience coding surveys
  • Experience developing presentations and providing briefings to middle and senior management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including note taking and visual representation of data using charts and graphs
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform in an individual contributor role while also excelling in a team environment
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and maintain organized notes and communications for each
  • Ability to analyze information and identify implications for policy, processes, communications and training
  • Familiarity with Python or R scripting

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings
  • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region
