We are seeking a strong Communication Associate to support the Navy Chief of Information (CHINFO). The primary place of performance will be onsite at CHINFO Headquarters (Pentagon, Arlington, VA). Telework, as needed, may be authorized by the Government. An active SECRET clearance is required prior to start.

The CHINFO leads Navy-wide Public Affairs strategy, execution, and assessment. Due to growth in demands, the Navy requires support to better understand and lead in today's connected communication environment. This requirement supports Navy-wide Public Affairs strategy, execution, and assessment.

Primary Responsibilities of this position are:

Create and execute communication strategies and tactics for the Navy. These include:

  • Identification of, and research on, key stakeholders-and the ideal communication end states desired for those stakeholders.
  • Determine the strategies, tactics, messages, and related actions required to achieve the targeted end states.
  • Provide objective measures and assessments of program effectiveness.

The Communication Associate performs as an individual or part of a team in the execution of Planning, Integration and Alignment of Communication Strategies and Tactics; Communication Monitoring and Assessment; and, Communication Plans and Products/Capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in lieu of, 6 years' work experience or Associates Degree plus 4 years work experience).
  • 8 years' proven experience performing a broad range of content, massaging, research, and reporting services within email, online, print, video, and/or social media domains.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and have proven writing skills.
  • Ability to work on a team dedicated to achieving excellence for the government client.
  • Self-starter with proven and documented success in completing objectives under challenging conditions.
  • Possess and maintain a SECRET clearance prior to start. US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to daily commute to the government HQ Monday-Friday.
