Job Overview
A Radio Frequency (RF) Technician II will be working on project sites under the supervision of the Project Foreman. The candidate should be familiar installing all forms of RF cabling and equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. As an RF Technician you should have the work experience installing basic equipment which involves using hand tools and power tools, a basic understanding of Distributed Antenna Systems and Wi-Fi systems and how they operate, reading floor plans and block diagrams. RF Technicians are full time employees with company benefits.
Job Requirements
Requirements include,but are not limited to:
1) BasicKnowledgeandSafeUseof hand tools and various power tools

3) FollowingSafetyPolicies andProcedures
4) ActivelyParticipating in DailySafety and Work briefings.
5) Implementing, installation, testing and troubleshooting of in-building Wireless Systems such as WiFi, DAS & Small Cell networks, commercial low voltage cabling applications and associated equipment such as:
a) Various pathways such as basket style tray and ladder style cable tray systems, conduits from " to 4", J-Hooks, trapezes, etc.
b) Various Cabinet and Racks , wire management, and grounding
c) Radio equipment such as base stations, radios, filters, combiners, and splitters
d) Prefabricated Components andAssemblies such as antennas and jumpers
e) Radio Frequency Grounding applications
6) Installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting of various types of Low Voltage cables and connectors such as RG6, LMR400, 1/2", 7/8" Coax, Category 6, and Fiber optic cabling
7) RF Technicians need to be able to train and supervise apprentices in a team environment to facilitate installing cable from the RF headend to the antenna location while following drawings and run lists to ensure cables are installed methodically and adequately supported throughout the pathway.
8) RF Technicians need to be able to perform Quality assurance checks of their team's work ensuring cable install is performed within all applicable requirements.
9) Maintainaclean work areaand participateinjob site cleanup .
10) Securing company test equipment, tool,and materialsdaily .
11) Up to25%Travel which may include domestic and/or international.
Qualifications / Expectations:
* 3+ years prior experience in commercial in-building Wireless System's industry
* Be 18 years of age
* High School diploma orGED is required
* Must have an excellent safety record, a valid driver's license, and clean driving record in order to meet corporate eligibility requirements to drive a company owned vehicle.
* Successfully pass a background check and drug test
* Have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
* Demonstrated experience and ability to read and understanding plans and specifications.
* Consistently report to work on time, work well with other to accomplish a common goal and maintain a safe work environment
* Wearlongpants and a shirt that covers the shoulders bysix(6) inches. These are not provided by the Company.
* Provide basic tools from provided tool list prior to 1 st day of employment.
