The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an IT Manufacturing / Inventory Analyst whowill be responsible for the business engagement, solution design, testing, support, and project implementation of SAP Manufacturing Order Execution and Inventory Management solutions in the SAP platforms as well as strategies for RF data collection and MES. The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of ERP manufacturing knowledge, analytical and configuration skills, effective business collaboration skills, in-depth Manufacturing Order Execution and Inventory Management knowledge and skills, and will design best practice ERP solutions in close collaboration with our business customers. The position will include support as well as working in a lead role on various sized projects.The position is based in Rochester, NY (Hybrid Schedule)

The Responsibilities

  • Member of the Global IT Supply Chain and Operations team, supporting the QuidelOrtho manufacturing facilities
  • Actively works with Business Resources to determine the technical solution that best meets the business requirements for Manufacturing Order Execution and Inventory Management functionality.
  • Explores and keeps up to date on current RF data collection and MES technologies and solutions, and participates in defining and maintaining global strategy for each
  • Participate in a rotation of on-site IT personnel in the Rochester manufacturing site

The Individual

Required Skills

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • Experience with design, configuration, deployment and support of ERP Manufacturing Order Execution and Inventory Management functionality

  • General knowledge manufacturing processes including MRP, raw material procurement, and quality management

  • Ability to effectively work within processes regulated for the medical device industry

  • Must be able to work effectively individually or collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of ERP manufacturing experience using SAP.
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile change methodology.

Internal Partners: IT functional and technical teammates and business partners within QuidelOrtho manufacturing.

The Work Environment

This role will require working onsite 2-3 days a week and occasional travel outside of Rochester.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including: education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, its is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $89,500 -$161,000 per year. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
