Financial Management Specialist

Job Description
The Financial Management Specialist will support the National Institute of Science and Technology. The Financial Management Specialist will support the program office with monitoring, tracking and controlling monetary resources and allocation. The following are the functional capabilities required by the Financial Mangement Specialist:
Qualifications:
- Financial Management
- Accounting & Auditing Services
- Budget Analysis & Tracking
- Cost Performance Risk Assessments
- Disbursement & Reconciliation Reporting and Support
- Economic Analysis
- Return on Investment Analysis
- Financial systems and procedures creation
- Cost/Schedule/Performance Analysis & Improvement
- Cost Estimations and Analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree: preferred in accounting or finance
- At least three to five years of experience performing relative tasks, preference given to NIST, DOC, and federal government experience
