Position Overview

This position will support a federal civilian customer in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This role is dependent upon award of contract and funding.

Description

What You'll Do:

Assist with task management, performing research, analysis, technical writing, tracking, archiving, and reporting

Review, track, process and assign audit-related emails, actions and correspondence from auditors, audit agencies and department POCs

Coordinate timely audit responses through facilitating communication between all levels of department staff and relevant stakeholders

Conduct internal audits, as requested, through researching, identifying, documenting, and reporting ineffective controls, vulnerabilities and risks that may result in waste, fraud, and abuse

Assist with drafting Audit Responses, Executive Tasker Responses and Summary Data Call Reports

Edit and proofread audit documents and Executive Level audit-related documents ensuring proper grammar, syntax, context, and content accurately and effectively report audit data

Develop and implement SharePoint-based audit quality control tracking systems to improve timely audit processing, responsiveness, submissions, productivity, system alignments, organizational assessments, and evaluations

Coordinate audit research, data collection, consolidation, reporting, briefing, problem solving, troubleshooting, process improvements and routing of submissions for review and approval

Develop, refine, and distribute Weekly Status Reports, Monthly Status Reports and Annual Reports reporting audit progress, audit performance metrics, audit issues and audit deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.

Develop Monthly Executive-Level Audit Briefings and presentation materials for OCIO senior management and perform ad hoc briefings

Execute event communications, including coordinating events, scheduling calendar invites and sending email communications, announcements and notifications, as well as audiovisual coordination and telecommunications coordination for OCIO meetings and events

Qualifications

Who You Are:

Working knowledge of compliance with the Office of Inspector General (OIG), General Accounting Office (GAO), DHS management directives, policies, procedures, and regulations

Working knowledge of the Program Management Office (ePMO) tracking tool and the OCIO Audits Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool

While this requires a SECRET clearance, TOP SECRET eligibility is ideal

Experience:

12 years total experience, including 8 Years of IT program and communications specialty experience to include audit communications specialty experience

BS/BA Degree

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or any higher education degrees from an accredited university, including a Juris Doctorate (J.D.), Masters of Business Administration (MBA), or PhD

Security Clearance

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
