Position Overview

ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. Our Security Business Division helps protect sensitive government program information across a spectrum of industrial security activities to include physical, document, personnel, and data systems. We have an opportunity for a Program Security Assistant (PSA) to support our Government customer in Washington, DC.

Description

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Provide support to multiple Program Security Officers (PSO's), both government and contractor
  • Review, research and draft SOPs, SSPs, OPSEC, SCGs, and SETAs.
  • Provide assistance in support of PMO security reviews and inspections at remote facilities
  • Manage personnel and systems at the program office level
  • Assist with inquiries required for incidents and violations
  • Conduct security briefings and debriefings
  • Provide assistance with visitor control program and meetings/conferences
  • Review and process PAR's and Coordinate Visit Requests
  • Maintain Facility Accreditation Database
  • Conduct DTA Review
Qualifications
  • Top Secret / SCI with an SSBI completed within the past five (5) years.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience performing industrial, physical, and personnel security discipline
  • 5 Year's experience working in a DoD security environment, with a minimum of three years Special Access Program (SAP) Experience (Military, Government Civilian, or DoD contractor - experience must be within the past five (5) years)
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), or must attain within 12 months
  • Working knowledge of documents/media control
  • Working knowledge of facility accreditation process and procedures
  • Familiar with transmission of documents via classified methods
  • Working knowledge of security manuals, directives, and Executive Orders (NISPOM, DoD Manuals 5205.07 Vol 1-4, Govt Instructions, etc.).
  • Proficient with Windows applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications).
  • Travel is required - not to exceed 20%

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with SIMS or Automated Data Control Systems for documents.

Security Clearance

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance based on a current SSBI.
