Job Description: (Brief Summary/Statement)

Perform studies and methodology development in support of the Navy's Analytic Master Plan.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform studies and methodology development projects utilizing the latest analytic performance assessment technology, risk analysis, and modeling/simulation techniques.
• Utilize professional knowledge, tools, and methods of experimental design and methods; as well as techniques of operations research based upon mathematics, statistics, and organizational sciences.
• Provide advice or guidance on the feasibility of approaches, optimum design variables, cost effectiveness, reliability, and expected performance of developmental analytic systems.
• Analyze projects and other organizational studies that contribute directly to program objectives.
• Serve as a specialist in areas such as mathematical modeling of organizational behaviors and program outcomes, data and analytic architecture systems, return on investment analysis, or analytic program assessment.
• Develop methods and metrics to assess and track analytic efforts and processes within the Analytic Master Plan linked to leadership priorities; and integrate Navy Analytics Study Program processes into the digital platform.

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (math, science, engineering, computer programming, or technical related field with Operations Research-related emphasis); Bachelor ' s Degree in a non-technical field may be substituted with 4 years of operations analysis experience.
• Minimum two (2) years ' experience in operational analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in the application of formal and informal analytical techniques, modeling complex problems, discovering insights and identifying patterns in data through the use of statistical analysis, data mining and management techniques.
• Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Four (4) years ' experience with Navy operational analysis preferred.
