As the company continues to grow we are seeking a Technical Support Specialist 1 for our Rochester NY office. The Technical Support Specialist 1 will focus on the direct support of our customers by providing expert technical solutions for instrument related issues using telecommunication, chat or other emerging technologies.
This position is in Rochester, NY.The Responsibilities
Investigates, troubleshoots and manages customer equipment and software complaints and inquiries in accordance with internal procedures and customers' requirements.
Maintains technical self-competence, knowledge of company procedures, and customer-related skills. Works independently and as part of a team.
Contributes to process improvements.
Minimum High School diploma with concentration in Science required.
AAS in an Applied Science, Information Technology preferred.
Military or Technical Certification accepted.
Customer Service experience a plus
