Job Summary:

We are seeking to identify qualified Program Officer and Specialist candidates, for immediate and upcoming positions across the Institute. These positions are based in IRI's Washington, D.C. Headquarters where there is a flexible and hybrid work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of professional experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, private organization, or international development sector.
  • Undergraduate degree in any relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks of competing priority with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including use of databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, including SharePoint.
  • Prior experience coordinating activities that require input from a variety of sources.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Relevant country, cultural, or legislative, experience preferred.
  • Second Language Fluency encouraged (i.e., Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French, etc.).
  • CFR 200.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
