If so, please consider joining our Marketing Team as a Senior Writer. This position is responsible for collaborating with all levels of the company to create, revise, and execute content and communications to our customers. This role will provide an expert level of marketing content development and communication advice, consultation, and production to the organization. The Senior Writer is also responsible for learning and understanding Quartz products and the health insurance industry.


    Collaborate as a creative team to produce dynamic content for various channels for B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Leverage your writing and communication expertise to drive customer engagement and organizational goals.
  • Cross-collaborate with marketing peers and subject matter experts at all levels of the organization to execute strategic marketing and communications activities to enable growth.
  • Full-time virtual, telecommuting, work from home option available
  • The role will be responsible for researching assigned content topics and delivering content in corporate brand tone and voice across various content channels.
  • Utilize analytics to drive better engagement in communications.
  • Content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, white papers, social media, web copy, videos, infographics, etc., that aid in fostering engagement or an action from an audience type.
  • Learn, understand, and articulate Quartz's value proposition for our customers.
  • Utilize Workfront to manage process and projects of assigned marketing materials. Understand analytics of content to increase engagement levels.
  • Peer review materials produced by other individuals in the Marketing Department before publication.
  • Completion of bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications or writing.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare or health insurance communications preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator
  • Comprehension and interest in writing health-related copy with the ability to develop content that is understandable and provokes engagement
  • Able to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization to gather information, advise on communication strategies, and written communications
  • Continually work to understand our customer's needs and challenges. Utilize their feedback to evolve customer interactions and experiences.

This full-time position will start working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic situation improves, the position has the option to transition to work from one of our offices located in Madison, W or Onalaska, WI or continue working remotely. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
