This position is a remote position working with nursing homes and coordinating with coalitions in Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. You will collaborate with corporations, trade associations and state departments of health. The work involves addressing Patient Safety activities (including Opioids, Infections and ADEs), Health Equity activities for Nursing Home residents, Immunizations/Vaccine uptake (flu, pneumonia and COVID), Infection Control and Smoking Cessation activities and other Community Coalition and Nursing Home project activities. This position will supervise a team of nursing home quality improvement consultants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. May manage subordinate supervisors who supervise employees and/or directly supervise non-supervisory employees.
