To meet our needs, we are looking for a Watch Officer to work out of McLean, Virginia to support a client's challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful Watch Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing current operational intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, analysis, and report writing; operational concept development; stakeholder engagement; and preparation and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. Watch Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in proper context while working collaboratively in an often stressful team environment. Candidates should be comfortable with drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information. The ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings is a key skill for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Poly
  • Ability to direct sensitive missions in a fast-paced, high-impact 24/7 operations center to satisfy collection requirements and maximize resource effectiveness
  • Experience with crisis management in high-risk or high consequence environments, including federal or state law enforcement, military or intelligence operations
  • Knowledge of the customer's intelligence operations life cycle and how to provide effective support through all stages
  • Ability to conduct weekly rotating shift work

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
