Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (P)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Professional l Engineer in Washington, D.C. to provide operations and maintenance support for a bid proposal.

******This position is contingent upon contract award*****

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the life-cycle analysis of the equipment
  • Ensure that the replacement parts for equipment and systems are of the exact specifications that the equipment requires.
  • Also responsible for technical expertise of mission critical systems and Programmable Logic Control (PLC),
  • Oversee the research of new and more efficient equipment and parts.
  • Review the Job Plans of all equipment categories, ensure that they are complete and all-encompassing per the recommendations of the manufacturer and the Mechanical Engineer's field expertise. The Job plans shall be updated yearly.
  • Complete any/all capacity calculations as required during equipment changes and upgrades.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by their supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must have have a Bachelor's Degree level of education from an ABET-accredited College or University
  • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of technical experience in facility maintenance

Physical Demands:

  • Manual dexterity and mobility.
  • Ability for repetitive reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
