The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Vendor Master Data Specialist who will be responsible for the accuracy of Vendor Master and other Master Data Objects contained in the SAP and Process Unity system. This includes the creation, administration and maintenance of master records. This role supports project work in the SCM-Procurement and Sourcing Department, to include use of Microsoft Tools and various Testing Systems for project and deliverables tracking.This position can be in Rochester, New York; Raritan, New Jersey; or Pompano Beach, Florida.

The Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for the tactical monitoring and management of Vendor Master Data Project Deliverables.

  • Support the development, documentation, and maintain vendor master data process and flow across ERP systems.

  • Develop and perform testing scenarios as required. Prepare tests for data regression, upgrade, and support pack testing.

  • Execute vendor master data maintenance activities provided through the Global Ticketing system. These could be manual, automated or preformed with Mass Load tools.

  • Support vendor master tasks in the vendor risk management and vet solution(Process Unity). Reports and reports management, system and data structure maintenance, system administration.

  • Support the department SOPs and Work Instructions which includes experience with Micro Soft Tools, such as Visio, Excel, MS Project, etc

  • Train End Users on Vendor Master Data Maintenance Process for Process Unity and SAP.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Master Data related experience with exposure to International Operations/Logistics. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP/ERP Systems.

  • Strong process development, documentation and personal skills desired.

  • Licensure/Credentials a plus, such as SAP certifications; Six Sigma green belt, or MS Software Certifications.

  • Experience with Master Data Management platform deployments.

  • Strong technical writing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Multilingual a plus.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Strong ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent computer skills include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, SAP and Data upload tools. Experience with Win Shuttle, and other "ETL" tools a plus.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $53,000 to $96,000 and is bonus eligible.
