C2 Technologies is seeking Human Resource Specialist - Staffing personnel with federal government HR staffing expertise and comprehensive senior-level HR experience to provide support in service of the Title 3 and Title 5 components of our Federal agency client.
Summary
  • Independently facilitate the timely execution of staffing and recruitment actions.
  • Independently create and code HR actions related to recruitment.
  • Independently provide office automation support and assistance.
  • Independently respond to routine personnel management questions from applicants, employees, and new hires; conduct research to support responses.
  • Independently assist specialists with actions, projects, and reports.
  • Independently gather, review, consolidate, and, in some instances, prepare required paperwork associated with a variety of personnel and HR actions. Secure necessary information and resolve discrepancies on actions with organizational contacts. Ensure timely processing of requests for personnel actions. Review and process personnel actions ensuring all entries have been completed and approvals / clearances have been obtained.
  • Independently provide advice and assistance on completion and processing of SF-52s.
  • Independently maintain administrative and functional files.
  • Independently coordinate with officials to resolve discrepancies and request additional information when needed. Ensure adequacy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to local policy and guidance.
  • Independently facilitate onboarding process for new employees to the agency. Advance new hires through the onboarding process by extending tentative offers; create records in EPIC (agency Personnel Information Center); create records in DCPDS (Defense Civilian Personnel Data System), administer Onboarding Manager access, assign and review documents; prepare new hire Folders; and assist in New Hire Orientation.
  • Independently provide employment verification and unemployment verifications for agency staff on an as-needed basis.
  • Office Automation Duties: Uses personal computer, electronic typewriter, and/or other office automation equipment, and various software programs to create, copy, edit, store, retrieve, and print a variety of documents; produce correspondence, memoranda, directives, forms, reports; create or maintain spreadsheets or databases; etc. in support of the agency. Works from rough drafts, documents, written instructions, or brief oral statements. May transmit, receive, and/or acknowledge various information such as electronic mail, messages, time and attendance information, etc.; insures proper clearance, if required; and prints hard copies or routes to other terminals. Material is created in draft or final form into a variety of formats utilizing terminology common to the organization. Ensures accuracy of spelling, grammatical construction, punctuation, etc., and presence of necessary enclosures. Exercises a high level of responsibility for completed work, a thorough knowledge of procedural requirements, and a good working knowledge of the subject matter in searching files for additional verifying references, and determining accuracy of fact and figures. Assists with scanning procedures.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience with bachelor's degree (masters preferred)
