Job Title: Resource Coordinator (LC)

Job Summary:

EMCOR Government Services has a need for a Resource Coordinator in McLean, VA. scheduled M - F 6:00am - 2:00pm with overtime opportunities

EMCOR Government Services is looking for a Resource Coordinator with at least two (2) years of MEP experience that provides oversight and management of the Administration Department to ensure that all Purchase Orders and Invoices are being received and processed properly. Will also ensure that all work orders are being received and closed out properly. The Resource Coordinator will also act as one of the On-Site Safety Officers, conducting tool box talks, and other required safety training. This position will also provide the oversight needed to purchase materials, schedule work, get vendors set up, and ensure that they have provided all the necessary documentation to be an approved vendor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include the following. Other duties may be assigned by EGS Management so long as they do not conflict with the CBA.

  • Gets pricing for materials needed for jobs
  • Writes Proposals
  • Orders the materials for jobs
  • Gets contractor information for site access
  • Gets contractor device information when device waivers are needed
  • Schedules contractor jobs
  • Provides TPC information for monitor requests
  • Works with TPC to provide equipment spec information when needed
  • Routinely monitors contractors when needed
  • Schedules job interviews
  • Helps to maintain a strong safety program
  • Does our EMCOR Tool Box Talks
  • Schedules subcontractors when requested by the Chief or Leads
  • Submits Payroll if the Administrative Assistant and CMMS Clerk are out

Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED (Required)
    • Two (2) Years of Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) experience (Required)
    • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)
    • Knowledge of Purchase Ordering (Required)
    • Familiar with MAXIMO and JD Edwards (Preferred)
    • Knowledge of Time Keeping (Preferred)

    Other Desired Experience:

    • Ability to work with little direct supervision
    • Ability to speak in front of small to medium groups of people
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance

    Physical Demands:

    May be required to move / lift heavy objects
