Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

Clearance Requirements::

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Secure Network Product Support Engineer, you'll design and build network systems and provide detailed specifications high security network architectures. You'll apply extensive technical expertise to provide solutions for DOD missions on hardware or software selection and implementation techniques. You will review and design systems to meet present and future security needs. This is your chance to not just work with the best technologies, but actually help create them. What you bring to the table:

  • Technical expertise with deployment of Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 network technologies
    • Knowledge of commercial and government encryption standards
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems
    • Hardened images
    • Deployment and field use
  • Expertise with interconnection of routers, hubs, bridges and gateways
  • Desire to become a Subject Matter Expert with secure network encryption products
  • Desire to represent the Cyber Systems organization as a technical contact and trainer
  • Strong knowledge of security practices and procedures
  • A desire to learn new networking concepts

  • Oral and written skills
    • Strong PowerPoint skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills
    • Oral skills that allow simple explanations for complex tasks

    • Organize time and materials in a multi-task environment
