Job Title: DC 1st Class Chief Engineer (FBI HQ)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a DC 1st Class Chief Engineer in Washington DC. The candidates must at a minimum a Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise engineers, and maintenance staff, hire new employees, provide training, and personnel development goals.
  • Review work order requests daily to determine workload priorities, assign work to staff, and monitor progress to completion.
  • Perform routine inspections of completed projects as well as quality control inspections to ensure work is satisfactory.
  • Source tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
  • Ensure work is being done safe, and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Ensures proper CMMS documentation and accurate records are maintained per contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares general reports, budgets report, and other documentation to ensure corporate and contract compliance.
  • Must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies per contract mission critical requirements.
  • Perform, and provide oversight of all service, preventive maintenance, and trades activities ensuring all contract performance requirement are met.
  • Recommend, and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and maintain an operations document library.
  • Implement, and administer inventory control programs, purchase material, parts, and equipment.
  • Support the site manager with field and administration duties as required to maintain operation.
  • Coordinate maintenance and communication with tenants, sub-contractor and vendors to maintain workflow.
  • Prepare work schedule and manage its process.
  • Monitor all contract related construction and work activities.
  • Perform final project inspections, punch list items, and expedite corrective action
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • DC 1st Class Engineers License required.
  • Must have a minimum of a Secret Level Clearance with the ability to get a Top Secret Clearance.
