Position Summary

Manage Oceaneering's ROV Tooling for deployment, readiness, reliability and performance, maintenance, future technology.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working with Service Excellence team to ensure tracking is accurate and maintained for all ROV tooling assets by way of agreed system (URSA).
  • Responsible for identifying and correcting any inaccuracy.
  • Responsible for tracking tooling utilization.
  • Responsible for identifying and analyzing low-utilization tooling and determining best fit for future tooling locations. Responsible for planning, tool tracking and financial cost makeups for moving assets.
  • Conduct and manage monthly status/audit health checks of ROV Tools by type of assets. Determine readiness, inclusive of Technical Bulletin compliance, and required preparatory work and costs.
  • Responsible for working with the workshop team to ensure all tools that are in red-tagged or demob status are being pushed for readiness on agreed timeline and budget. Responsible for keeping oversight on these operations.
  • Responsible for working with commercial and project management teams to assist with allocation support in relation to commercial opportunities.
  • Responsible for working with commercial, engineering and project management teams to assist with technical support in relation to new customer design requirements and tool development.
  • Responsible for working with Project Management team to support project requirements, assist in technical project support and any associated support needed for front end planning (tooling integration, front end procedures.
  • Responsible for working with Product Management, Area Leadership, Commercial, and Operations to determine future requirements for new tooling technology
  • Responsible for working with Service Excellence team to ensure tooling maintenance on offshore ROV Tools are being performed and tracked.
  • Responsible for working with Service Excellence and Project Management teams for offshore tooling rotation needs to ensure tool swaps are aligned.
  • Responsible for incorporating reliability Improvements and Implementation of these efforts for tools or groups of tools.
  • Determine opportunities for cost reduction, and specification improvements.
  • Responsible for analyzing R&M costs and Identifying ROV tools for Retirement and/or replacement.
  • ROV Tool Pool Support
  • Responsible for market and/or competitor awareness of tools for supporting development of improvement in tool offerings
  • Manage AFE, Capex and Maintenance Spend for ROV Tooling
  • Monthly report outs on System Availability, Utilization and Location.
Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Technical / Operational background with 5-10 years of significant relatable operational experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and PeopleSoft ERP System.
  • Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel.
  • Experience evidencing a strong Business Acumen.
  • Prior Technical Experience

PREFERRED

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Management or related experience
  • Offshore/oilfield operational experience
