Job Description

Position Purpose: Provide coordination support to project team as directed by Project Manager assisting in administration and organization of various project documents. This position requires an individual with a high level of organization, focus to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

  • Construction Planning
  • Utility 811 Locate Tracking
  • Subcontractor Qualifying
  • Pay App Submission
  • SharePoint File Management
  • Schedule Development

Construction - Assist Project Manager and Construction Team with the following:

  • Track/File Project Documentation
  • RFI/Submittal Delivery and Tracking
  • Weekly Quantity Entry
  • Inspection Form Review/Filing
  • Packing/Material Slip Tracking and Submission to A/P Department
  • Equipment and Tooling Tracking
  • Internal Project Reporting
  • Log and Distribute Meeting Minutes
  • Material Purchase Order Set Ups
  • Subcontractor Tracking
  • Billing Review
  • Quality Management System Assurance
  • Change Order and Legal Documentation Submission/Tracking
  • Job Book Specification and Design Documentation Field Distribution
  • PPE and Office Supply Ordering
  • As-Built Filing
  • Incident Reporting
  • Weekly Hour Reporting
  • Customer Requests
  • Cost Monitoring
  • Asset Tracking

Knowledge | Skills | Abilities

  • Detail orientated and ability to work with high accuracy
  • Diverse knowledge of consturction project adminstration/coordination
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and due dates
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workface
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing using proper spelling, gramar, and punctuation
  • Capable to learn fast and adapt quickly
  • Superior time management skills, able to prioritize daily workload and plan ahead
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain confidentiality of project records and documents
  • Able to travel to various project locations
  • Extensive computer skills to include Acrobat, Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Proven communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of Construction Administration or related experience, preferably in the electrical utility industry

Work Environment

  • Primarily office environment with periodic site visits and/or site walk downs.
  • Occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions
  • This position requires frequent communication with employees and outside vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to remain standing for approximately 50% of the time
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, climbing
