Job Title: Material Handler (NARA II)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Material Handler in College Park, MD. This position will work in the warehouse and perform tasks associated with material handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials and products.
  • Inspect materials prior to unloading for correct order and potential shipping damages.
  • Move materials to and from the loading docks to delivery trucks, storage, or staging areas.
  • Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse.
  • Deliver materials to specific areas in the facility.
  • Operate a forklift and pallet jacks.
  • Ensuring that the warehouse is clean and in order.

Qualifications:

  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
  • Prior experience with warehousing software/computer systems.

Physical Demands:

  • Heavy lifting, stooping, and bending.
