Job Title: General Weekend Cleaner (NARA I)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a General Weekend Cleaner in Washington, DC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean, stock and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, etc.)
  • Perform maintenance activities
  • Performing cleaning tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a janitor (5 yr experience)
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be willing to adhere to company policies
  • Must be able to pass background check on credit and criminal
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned
  • Familiarity with SDS
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
