About your Role:

The Clinical Manager establishes, leads and directs the daily operation of its team to ensure the administration of efficient, effective, and quality services to consumers with complex severe and persistent mental illness.  Ensures that services meet medically necessity, are trauma informed and are delivered using a person-centered approach.  The Clinical Manager supervises and evaluates the members of the multidisciplinary team develops and tracks outcomes.  The Clinical Manger ensures that the team meets fiscal and budget targets while adhering to policy and regulatory requirements. Maintains strong positive relationships with key members of the funding source.  Services are rendered 24/7, 365 days per year. Essential duties include:
  • Provide ongoing daily leadership, oversight, and development of the team service delivery system.
  • Monitors and ensures that the team delivers high-quality care that is consistent with FPS, DBH, and accreditation standards. 
  • Consistently maintains fidelity to the model and attains key contract deliverables. 
  • Provides and supervises crisis management and safety planning.  Ensures the linkage of consumers to external processes that enhance quality of life indicators.
  • Maintain adherence to legal, fiscal and compliance policy, regulations, and federal laws.  Assist in developing of internal policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates program staff. Conducts on-site coaching, as needed.  Maintains accurate supervisory and administrative records as required.
  • Develops and maintains key relationships with DBH, other external providers, and the community.  Professionally represent the organization at required meetings, and other business-related functions.
  • Collaborates with key leadership staff and corporate personnel to develop, implement, and conduct ongoing professional development activities.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds established benchmarks, quality indicators and requirements.  Ensures that documentation meets quality clinical standards.
  • Consistently meets/exceeds targeted fiscal goals and program outcomes.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned to sustain the mission, vision and operations of FPS, DC.
Does the Following Apply to You?
  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a human services related field with a minimum of four years of post-Master’s clinical experience that includes two years of management experience.
  • Has knowledge and experience in implementing the MHRS regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Professional Licensure at the independent level is required.
