As an Analyst, you will learn, grow, and be challenged on the job as you work to leave a lasting impact on your clients. We hire for the company, not for specific projects. As such, Analysts will have diverse experiences and opportunities to collaborate with talented team members throughout the company to develop a breadth of experience and expertise. Specific responsibilities may vary and include:

  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of client solutions, strategies, approaches, and implementation plans
  • Assist in planning and conducting client interviews
  • Support the design and facilitation of external and internal meetings; be responsible for knowledge capture during meetings
  • Produce quality deliverables that result in a high degree of project leader and client satisfaction
  • Support business development efforts by assisting with proposal preparation
  • Develop and maintain general institutional knowledge of clients, their culture, organization, and issues
  • Provide logistical support (e.g., travel, scheduling)
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of one year of professional work experience, preferably in a professional services or client-facing environment
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation creation tools, and internet research tools; familiarity with Google Suite a plus
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance and/or a positive suitability determination (required for select projects)
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites in the surrounding DC and Baltimore metro areas; occasional travel outside of these regions could be expected (5%)
  • Desired Skills, Experiences and Certifications: PMP and/or Prosci certification, change management, strategic communication, program management, or organizational design experience


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS


While performing duties of this job, an employee may be required to perform any, or all of the following: Attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively); Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; Communicate effectively (both orally and in writing); Ability to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment; Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work is primarily sedentary and involves sitting for several hours at a time. Occasionally walking, climbing stairs, and standing occur in this role. Additionally, this job requires certain mental demands, including the ability to use judgement, withstand moderate amounts of stress and maintain attention to detail.
