Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Logistics Specialist in Herndon, VA. The Logistics Specialist will assist in maintaining inventory and perform daily material pickups from various vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for:

  • Manage and Maintain Inventory Records
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed for each trade
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
  • Institute the corrective action and/or inform your supervisor on any deficiencies found while performing the job.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by your Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Driver License
  • Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Tools/Parts in each trade/Able to Maintain Inventory Records
  • ISSA TS/SCI w/FS Poly

Physical Demands:

  • Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 75 lbs.)
  • Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
  • Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies and parts
  • Manual dexterity and mobility
  • Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
