Job Description | Graduate level Project Coordinator needed an average of 20 hours/week to support the work of the Northern Kentucky Nursing & Interprofessional Research Collaborative (NIRC). The mission of the NIRC is to positively impact the health of the region through the collaborative implementation of community-driven interventions based on interprofessional research methods, quality improvement initiatives, and the application of best practices. |
Primary Responsibilities | NIRC activities include academic-community partnerships which engage students in experiential learning and application of evidence based practice and population health research. Other activities of the NIRC include the delivery of structured workshops, seminars, and support of student/faculty/partner scholarship through the development of shared digital resources, and the creation of opportunities for dissemination and recognition of excellence in nursing scholarship. Community partnerships focus on service learning and community based participatory research opportunities for NKU nursing students, faculty, and clinical nurses in the community. |
Qualifications | *At least one letter of recommendation from NKU faculty is highly desirable. All interested students must fill out an online student application. Any candidate who is offered the position will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law. |
