Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician (NARA)K

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician at the National Archives Building in College Park, MD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of personnel in this position include, include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance and repair of panels, sensors, actuators, software, host computer, data/visual display terminals and consoles, networks, network drivers, network terminations, and other associated hardware.

Qualifications.

  • Must fluently speak, read and write the English language
  • Must have five (5) years of experience in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
  • Must have at least NICET Level 2 AND one or more of the following:
  1. Factory trained and certified for fire alarm system service of the specific type and brand of system
  2. Certified by a nationally recognized fire alarm certification organization acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction
  3. Registered, licensed, or certified by a state or local authority
  4. Personnel who are employed and qualified by an organization listed by a nationally recognized testing laboratory for the servicing of fire alarm systems.
