The Customer Support/ Service Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' service needs are properly met. Acts as a liaison between customers and service technicians and facilitate transactions between customers and the company.

  • Physically and electronically receive service jobs daily
  • Contact each customer for job information and billing instructions
  • Create work orders
  • Process finished 'end customer' service jobs in IFS and create customer orders from work orders for final billing and shipping
  • Process internal jobs to properly allocate resources and record keeping before delivering back to warehouse
  • Answer phone calls related to past, future, and current service jobs, and those related to technical and quality support related to service
  • Communicate with appropriate team members regarding Sales and Shop orders that require research and adjusting for service department to complete
  • Collect data to improve internal communications and collaboration between team members
  • Present/discuss solutions for areas of improvement with manager and other team members
  • Assist technicians acquiring parts and help with problems related to parts inventory and/or ability to aid on service jobs
  • Work with procurement to obtain parts needed that are not in stock locally
  • Send out Invoices and take lab inventory
  • Receive packages and unpack them; go to warehouse to retrieve packages and needed parts
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior experience in a similar role or customer service type role
  • Product Knowledge preferred but not required
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong record keeping skills
  • The ability to understand and relate technical issues
