Job Title: Locksmith (NARA)K

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Locksmith in Camp Springs, MD and Washington to provide Consolidated Facilities Management Services at the National Archives Building in College Park, MD and Washington, D.C. DC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of personnel in this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Repairing key locksets
  • Fabricating and replicating keys
  • Opening key locksets; Installing, performing maintenance, repairing, replacing, removing, opening, and resetting of mechanical, electronic combination cipher locks, electronic card locks, and electronic security systems to include replacing lockset batteries when necessary

  • Unlocking buildings, safes, vaults, file cabinets, desks, lockers (with or without combination or key), etc., to gain access when authorized; and Performing improvement, alteration, and adaptation of locking devices and systems.

Qualifications.

  • Certified and bonded by both D.C. and the State of Maryland.
  • Must fluently speak, read and write the English language
