RIVA Solutions is seeking to support the The National Guard Bureau (NGB) - JACO on a long term program. The National Guard is a dynamic and fluid organization, subject to ongoing changes in missions and force structure as dictated by the DoD, OSD, DA, and AF. The candidate should be adaptable to such changes and ensure that timely and continuing guidance and assistance are provided to Government leaders and offices, through ensuring consistent and efficient business processes.
The Editor/Researcher will provide direct client interface and support with editorial services which include editing, writing, proofreading, researching, indexing, copywriting, fact-checking, document formatting, sub-titling, document mapping, archiving, and library management services. Products may include military plans, policies, instructions, memoranda and guidelines; and will require analysis for impact on other DoD and federal plans, policies, and instructions.
This position also ensures the integrity of all correspondence for Office of the Chief and Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau; provides editorial advice and recommendations to NGB Action Officers, Staff Officers and Workflow Managers; and provides publishing, editing and library media services.
