This position is to provide Physical and Personnel Security access control center and service desk support. Job duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. Provide professional customer service
  2. Multi-tasking and handling in person communication, phone calls, and e-mails
  3. Basic desktop and system troubleshooting
  4. Create and issue access control badges
  5. Access level management and assignment
  6. System health checks and reporting
  7. Document issues and create trouble tickets
  8. Process visit requests
  9. Database administration
 
Provides technical & administrative information to others working on a physical security projects to ensure that the work complies with all electronic systems and access control standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots related installation problems at all levels for Access Control System, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Video Surveillance Systems, including system monitoring and reporting. Interface with management, customers, tenants, technicians, and alarm monitoring staff to answer inquiries, provide status reports, and resolve IMMS issues. 
 
Survey, analyze, and evaluate the physical security program that utilizes active and passive security measures and management protocol designed to prevent unauthorized access to personnel, equipment, material, and documents. 
 
This involves the following:
  1. Documenting Service Requests in ticketing system and ensuring tickets are closed as issues are resolved.
  2. Assisting in calls relating to workstations, software, servers, communications, badging, alarm monitoring, etc.
  3. Telephone and service desk support of technicians, system operational staff, and customers
Member of a multi-discipline physical security team, this candidate will provide access control and intrusion detection program planning, guidance, maintenance, and support. You should be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and clearly understand expectations and requirements relative to our contracted mission.
 
Leadership
  1. Provide support for customers, other system engineers and administrators, installation team, and the maintenance team, with utmost courteous and attentive level
  2.  Assists in scheduling of tasks within an assigned project when needed
 
Documentation
  1. Data entry of documentation of applications, systems, and equipment in IMMS or similar tool.
  2. Produces support documentation
  3. Logs calls and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory response with acceptable time frames for the user community
  4. Maintain and update customer site documentations
 
Ticketing
  1. Manage assigned tickets and assist in managing ticket queue on a daily basis
  2. Receive or assign service tickets and service all assigned tickets to the best of your abilities
  3. Create new tickets for un-ticketed work requests
  4. Update ticket fields upon receipt
 
Direct Job Requirements: 
  1. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. Eligibility for a DoD Top Secret clearance is required
  2. Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer
  3. Must be able to successfully pass an extensive background check and obtain a security clearance after offer letter is extended
  4. Shall be appropriately certified in relative systems such as AMAG, CCURE, MILESTONE, and/or BOSCH, within 6 - 12 months of date of hire
  5. Bachelor's degree required
  6. Must have at least five years of experience utilizing MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Access, and/or PowerPoint)
  7. Must have at least one year of verifiable experience with the federal government and/or DoD
  8. Provide system capability and skills for program and implementation of: automated access control system handling badging, CCTV, alarm, etc. to ensure operational readiness of the system at all locations, and be responsible for adding/ removing employee facility accesses.
  9. Ensure accuracy of data and keep information real time. Provide required reports.
  10. Provide support to Site operators and ensure that they are trained and certified in their responsibilities.
  11. Conduct audits and inventories.
  12. Support and provide guidance regarding physical security awareness programs.
  13. Lead special projects, such as development of new access badges, mass records updates, or re-badging.
  14. Ensure timely delivery or products and services from vendors as required to support the program.
  15. Coordinate and make recommendations on all upgrade projects and initiatives.
  16. Maintain and/or update physical security plans, drawings, and other required documentation.
Availability:
  1. The candidate will be on-site for at least 8 hours each day.  The candidate will be available to respond to emergency team coverage  at night and on weekends.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Manage / track service history for all defined systems.
  2. Provide escort to subcontractors.
  3. Notify and work with facility supervisory organization of issues with defined systems.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, stay alert and focused, and coordinate and manage electronic security equipment.
  2. Ability to use computer software applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and email.
  3. Possess excellent organizational and file management skills and the ability to plan and execute administrative work with little supervision
  4. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  6. Possess excellent typing abilities and the skill to prepare documents accurately with minimal errors.
  7. Ability to professionally interact with customers, colleagues and command members at all levels; and to foster positive business relationships.
