ITA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Design Support to join the team in Washington D.C.
Perform engineering, design and development of shipbuilding specifications, drawings and acquisition program documents for the US Coast Guard National Security Cutter (NSC) Acquisition Program at USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC. Perform schematic reviews and electrical system analysis including load distribution, vital/non-vital loads and LVR/LVP requirements in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition and repair
-BA/BS or MA/MS degree (Associates Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a BS Degree)
-Minimum of seven (7) years demonstrated experience with government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on machinery Control and Monitoring Systems (MCMS), electrical wiring, schematics, cabling and electrical/mechanical controls systems. ---Qualified candidate shall have experience performing schematic reviews and electrical system analysis including load distribution, vital/non-vital loads and LVR/LVP requirements in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition and repair projects.
-Minimum of one (1) year demonstrated experience with shipbuilding acquisitions
-Be proficient with AutoCAD, MS Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint.
-Abiity to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
