RK&K is hiring College Interns for the Summer season to join the Construction Division in our Orlando office. Our interns will receive on-the-job training, mentorship and insight into various aspects of the consulting engineering industry from design to field work and client management. Individuals will be exposed to various challenges, projects and technology related to their specific discipline.
As a Paid Intern in our Construction Management Division you will support the project management team under the direction of a Senior Inspector with the following:
Act as our company representative on roadway construction sites ensuring that workmanship and materials comply with specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assignments in assisting Senior Inspectors in the performance of their duties, and will receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress.
May be required to lift heavy objects, excessive walking, driving, bending and reaching, pointing or directing objects or materials. The general physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
