Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Comprehensive understanding of DoD/DHA IT Security and IA policies, directives, and publications; and shall maintain awareness of relevant cyber-related policy issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal security regulatory requirements and security frameworks, including RMF, NIST SP 800-series, FISMA, FIPS, FedRAMP, etc.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains setup documentation and security policies for compliance and accreditation purposes for all programs, including SOPs, policies, procedures, plans, and more.
  • Prepares, standardizes, edits, and finalizes documentation, incorporating information provided by system administrators, specialists, analysts, engineers and operations personnel.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains templates, guidelines, checklists, presentations, and training guides in alignment with the RMF guidelines for the organization's cybersecurity needs.
  • Reviews and comments on materials related to technical documentation and reports, cybersecurity policies and procedures, and planning materials.
  • Writes, edits, and develops graphical presentations of technical information for both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Organizes and completes writing assignment material according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Maintains records and files of work and revisions regarding IT operational policies and procedures.
  • Develops and formalizes robust quality assurance review processes of all existing and new programs, and shall conduct quality assurance reviews of programs as directed.
  • Creates informational exhibits such as document data flows, Ports, Protocols and Services (PPS) documentation, system architecture, and other necessary diagrams/charts.

  • Four-year college degree
  • Secret clearance required
  • Must meet DoD 8570 requirements
