Position Description

Role:

Under the Director of Web Development's supervision, using independent thought, performs a variety of duties as required to provide web development support to the Marketing Department. The position is responsible for maintaining content and branding of the Apple FCU corporate web site and any subsidiary web sites as well as third party administration sites. The position coordinates and administers all online communication, email and tracking programs and applications to support the marketing objectives and strategic corporate goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage content on the website by posting/updating newsletter articles, social media, and other program communications to the appropriate place on the website.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for local and organizational projects.
  • Act as technical lead for developers and all external web development projects.
  • Provide code reviews and mange development pipelines for operational efficiency.
  • Serve as authority on code repositories and assist with management of repository engineering in an Agile development environment.
  • Manage operational tasks and project schedules for overall maintenance and functionality of the Apple website.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity and Director of Web Development to ensure the Apple website complies with required regulations.
  • Coordinate with Department managers and representatives to evaluate the current structure, operations, and content of the Apple website, provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Establish relationships, identifying and recommending opportunities for value-added improvements and innovations.
  • Support Apple website design and ensure that the Apple web properties meet the standards for 508 compliance and other federal or agency-specific requirements.
  • Maintain and assist in the creation of technical guidance and policies for Apple's web development.
  • Evaluate and analyze website statistics and user feedback to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the website.
  • Establish and maintain the posting and user feedback distribution processes for the website to ensure content posted, and user feedback is distributed timely and accurately.
  • Work collectively on cross-disciplinary projects.
  • Understand organizations brand, target audiences, and existing activities in the space.
  • Evolve, revise, or redevelop content in response to feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Balance multiple projects successfully to meet deadlines and collaborate across multiple stakeholders with different priorities.
  • Assist with the creation of policies regarding technical architecture and development processes to maximize productivity and engineering rigor.
  • Provide campaign performance data to Marketing Team members for analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns and apply key learnings to future campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

BA/BS degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field required

Experience:

  • Minimum four years relevant experience within web design and/or web site development.

  • Experience with web Marketing and desktop systems required, including industry standard Integrated Development Environment (IDE) web applications and graphic design software.
  • Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of web authoring software including Dreamweaver.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator for the creation, production, and manipulation of graphics for the Web.
  • Understanding of Standards-based, HTML, CSS, DHTML coding required.
  • Ability to acquire new technical coding skills through formal and informal learning.
  • Proficiency with server-side technologies and coding in .NET programming languages.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as interpersonal communication, writing and telephone skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously and effectively.
