People & HR Learning Manager - Digital and Analytics
Who You'll Work With
You will be based in one of our North America offices and will be a part of the Global Growth, Marketing & Sales (GM&S) Learning team.
Growth, Marketing & Sales is a large and growing practice that includes nearly 1,000 colleagues globally who serve clients on a variety of topics. McKinsey's Growth, Marketing & Sales practice is the largest marketing consultancy in the world. As a growth engine for many clients, Marketing and Sales are important functions for our clients and have a very important role within the firm.
Many of the learning programs supported are often the first points of contact for the consultants with the GM&S practice. These programs play an important role in building skills, exciting and inspiring consultants to do GM&S work, and forging connections with the practice.
You will serve as a thought partner to the Functional Learning Leader (FLL) and rest of Growth, Marketing & Sales (GM&S) learning team. You will work closely with the practice's Global People Leaders (GPLs), Global Learning Leader (GLL), GM&S Learning Program sparring partners, and the leader of Practice Operations. You will be expected to develop excellent working relationships across the regional and service line leadership teams as well as broader Client Capabilities learning community, ensuring that the best content is being leveraged and practice needs are being met.
What You'll Do
You will have the responsibility for supporting and owning multiple projects with a focus on supporting the delivery of successful capability building across tenure groups.
You will deliver and expand existing Growth, Marketing & Sales DnA (Digital and Analytics) & Tech learning offerings for all GM&S colleagues. You will lead DnA & Tech external partnerships ensuring the best learning is brought to the GM&S colleagues through external partnership (e.g. Google, Meta, Sales Force, etc.).
You will design and launch GM&S learning journeys for GM&S Solutions colleagues and ensure learning about GM&S Solutions is incorporated into GM&S core learning curriculum. You will delivery excellence and innovation, leading GM&S learning global initiatives to grow GM&S faculty pool and establish refreshed incentives/recognition for GM&S faculty.
There is flexibility to hire at Manager or Specialist level depending on candidate experience.
  • University degree with excellent academic record; advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in event/program design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound judgement, strong integrity and fairness in dealing with people
  • Strong sense of team spirit, entrepreneurial and pragmatic way of working
  • Shows discretion when counseling consultants on their professional careers and providing feedback
  • Superb attention to detail and very organized
