Position Summary
Infor has a compelling story to tell the world, but often the relevance and advantages get obscured in the marketing process so that our target audiences and influencers are not clear on our market position, differentiation, value, or aspirations. Infor has many messages, and we need to focus our communications on the key messages and communication channels. Through compelling, relevant, authentic, and original content we need to have better conversations with our prospects and customers and the market. We need to set new standards for content creation and its integration into marketing campaigns that support the Infor brand and our differentiated value.
The Content Marketing Director is focused on leading the development of quality, compelling and engaging content to further enhance the demand for our products and services based on experience gained working in creative industries and conceiving and managing content for integrated campaigns in a global tech b2b software market. You will lead a small team of Content Marketing Managers and report to the Head of Content Marketing. You will need to be forward-thinking to anticipate future trends and success of our brand and have knowledge of what content types are most effective in driving conversations and engagement along the different stages of the buyer journey. Critical to this role will be partnering and collaborating with a cross functional team including product & industry strategy marketing, field marketing, product managers, competitive & market intelligence, brand and campaigns strategy, marketing creative, and field sales to gather feedback, develop, and deliver clear messaging for Infor products and services with the goal of driving adoption, utilization, and prospects satisfaction.
This role will line manage one group of the Content Team and a Content Producer responsible for the Discrete Manufacturing industry group.
