Contracts Department Intern

Through our Internship Program, PAE is seeking qualified undergraduate students for an opportunity to gain experience within the US Government contracting industry, develop business acumen and problem-solving skills, and expand their professional network.

We have internship openings within our Recruiting, Finance, Human Resources, Contracts, Global Supply Chain Management, and Internal Audit/Compliance teams (with additional departments expected to have intern needs as well). While some of the experience varies, our primary requirements are listed below.

Requirements:

  • Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited college or university majoring in Psychology, Communications, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or another related discipline. Other disciplines may still be considered depending on the department.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Highly self-motivated with strong leadership skills and able to think creatively to develop innovative solutions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to commute/live and work in the Washington D.C. metro area

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research compliance and reporting requirements across contracts with the United States Government
  • Assist other contracts professionals with issue resolution
  • Obtain a better understanding of the structure and management of government contracts
