Job Title: Driver

Location: Washington DC and Metro area

Description: The Driver will be responsible for transporting personnel and special messenger packages to various destinations within the Washington Metro Area using sedans, minivans, or cargo vans. Occasionally, the Driver will be requested to make trips outside the Washington Metro Area. Work assignments may consist of transporting agency executives; material including envelopes, parcels, cartons, boxes; and equipment (up to 70 pounds) to various destinations.

Required Education/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Active secret clearance.
  • Eligible for credentials to access Federal Government and Military Installations.
  • All drivers must have excellent working knowledge (driving and parking rules) of the streets and locations in the National Capitol Region (NCR) and a general knowledge of roadways within Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
  • Prior experience handling and transporting sensitive material and documents containing classified or Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply Federal policy, directives and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Dress professionally, display a professional demeanor at all times, and effectively communicate and execute trip assignments.
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Ability to assist passengers with physical disabilities
