Job Description

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is Washington's premier special events and conference facility, located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Penn Quarter in Washington DC.
At Trade Center Management Associates we are currently seeking an experience Graphic Designer to add to our Events Marketing Department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
2-4 Years graphic design experience with demonstrated project leadership, preferred
Posses expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign
Knowledge of marketing, media and design principles
Demonstrated design expertise in all mediums including print, large format, digital and web including social media and knowledge of best practices for production and usability
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CSS, HTML 5 and WordPress required
Familiar with printing processes (digital and offset), finishing processes and preparing print files
Talent for managing multiple creative concepts with speed
Must be detail-oriented while working in high pressure environments to meet deadlines
Must posses strong communication and organizational skills
Must be a team player that is positive and innovative
Photography/Videography experience and editing capabilities a PLUS

Job Responsibilities: 

Sole in-house designer, will oversee all design implementation, in support of departments/brans at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, creating and revising graphics for various marketing initiatives, including: Branding, advertising, collateral, web, email, promotional products, internal events, signage and visual displays.
Designer will develop and maintain standards and oversee compliance company-wide ensuring consistent visual brand experiences across all touch points.
Collaborate with marketing team by guiding conceptual design discussions and development for brands, products or services.
Oversee management of photo and video archive and others assets.
Manager production specifications and materials, bidding/negotiating pricing and the printing of production of materials
Maintain and oversee relationship/projects with freelance designers
Arrange meetings with vendors
Manage or Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed
