Summary The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator will contribute to the development, uptake, delivery, and technical direction for the NCECDTL learning management system. The LMS Administrator will manage all technical delivery aspects of the LMS with the selected vendor on behalf of NCECDTL for instructors, users, while supporting new product development, contribute to product extensions, and will be responsible for customer service internally and externally.
Essential DutiesandResponsibilities
LMS Administration Function as the primary technical expert of the LMS and perform duties associated with that role, including:
Administration and maintenance of all content including testing and troubleshooting and working with vendor to resolve issues.
Perform user registration, course/test completions, standard reporting, and maintenance of learner records.
Administration of eLearning courses including creating and managing courses, user reporting, user setup and maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Able to provide help desk support for users both internally and externally both through e-mail and via telephone.
Product Management
Support eLearning events and associated CEU products to meet funders goals while ensuring the highest level of customer support and satisfaction is exceeded.
Collaborate internally with multiple SMEs, Sr. Manager of Virtual PD.
Serve as an important liaison with the ZERO TO THREE Information Technology team.
Manage customer support.
Create surveys, user manuals, FAQ documentation, policies, guides, and other related materials.
Manage the roles, securities, and permissions within the LMS.
Product Development
Increase andinnovate theeLearningproductportfolio by supportingnewcoursedevelopment,providingideas for productextensions,andmanagingday to day operationssystemwide.
Manage and develop the userexperiencewithin the LMS, including working with the NCECDTL media and design team,managingplatformenhancements to ensurefidelity of the product roadmap, assistingwiththeproductionofcoursesandevaluation,andworkingwithevaluation team toshareimportant datapointswith the Sr. Manager of Virtual PD.
Performs other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of one to three yearsofexperiencewithlearningmanagement systems, onlinetraining, surveys,andcustomer support.
Knowledgeandexperiencewithadultlearnersin the early educationfieldpreferred,butnot required.
CEUknowledge and experiencepreferred,butnot required.
Experience with AdobePhotoshop(orothergraphicseditingsoftware),AdobeDreamweaver (or other HTMLeditingsoftware), and ArticulateStoryline.
PhysicalRequirements Whileperforming the responsibilities of the job, theemployeeisconstantlyrequired to use repetitivemotion,fingerdexterity as well as sufficienthanddexterity to use a computer keyboardand be capable of reading a computer screen.Also, mayneed to remainseated for longperiodsof time,have the ability to performrepetitivemotions, andhearwellenough to detectnuancesandreceivedetailedinformation.Theemployee may be required to walk, grasp objects,pushorpullobjects,bend,squat, reach,stand,crawl or kneel.Visionabilities required by thisjobincludeclosevision for preparingandanalyzing data. Frequentlyliftsobjects up to 30 pounds.Occasionallyliftsobjects up to 50pounds.
