Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA) is the private sector building management and hospitality service provider, operating in a unique relationship with the General Services Administration, owner of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. TCMA's mission is to be recognized in both the public domain and private marketplace as being the best in all three areas of its business offerings: five star hospitality as the premier location to stage conferences and special events, highest quality building management operation and America's premier address for international trade services.
TCMA is looking for an intelligent, energetic, and creative individual to help support the organization of our annual Spring/Summer outdoor events for the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on the Woodrow Wilson Plaza. Events include the LIVE! Summer Concert Series and the weekly Capitol Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) Farmers Market.
We offer up to 20 hours/week and flexible scheduling for students.
Responsibilities
* Assist team members with monitoring daily performances, communication and coordination with artists
* Assist with various social media promotional campaigns
* Outreach and communicate with performers and vendors, monitoring decibel levels and attendance at concerts
* Online engagement and social media monitoring and maintenance
* Provide organization and administrative tasks
Requirements
* Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
* Professional appearance and manner
* Ability to take direction and work independently
* Familiarity with social media platforms
* Reliable transportation
