System Integration Test Engineer - Requisition ID 037507

Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION(S):

  • Review and provide inputs/recommendation on requirement documents (MSOFD, FRD, etc.).
  • Develop and document test points, detailed test procedures, flight test cards, and flight profiles.
  • Support flight briefs/debriefs.
  • Coordinate with EW ranges in preparation before each flight.
  • Support aircraft flight integration efforts with ALQ-227 and Electronic Attack Unit as required.
  • Observe and provide assistance/guidance to the aircrew during flights.
  • Monitor ALQ-227 and Electronic Attack Unit performance and operation data during flights from Range Control.
  • Analyze Lab/Gnd/Flight test videos and Mux data, generate reports, record/document problem discovered.
  • Provide systems engineering, aircrew interface, mission planning, and test support to the EA-18G development effort.
  • Act as tahe POC between the Lab and the G Team to maintaining correct EA-18G system configuration and upgrades.
  • Instructs/Train other engineers on the lab set-up, procedures, and potential problem areas.
  • Creates Joint Mission Planning System missions to be used by test engineers in the Lab.
  • Support other team members on integrating ALQ-227 and Electronic Attack Unit sub-systems.
  • Attend required meetings and training.
  • Participate in weekly Task Team Webex/conference calls.
Qualifications
Relevant Experience (amount and type): F/A-18 and EA-18G platform experience with 12 years of experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ALQ-227 experience.
Electronic Attack Unit experience.
